Winter Weather Preparations
The Met Office have increased their Cold Weather Alert to a Level 3, which means there is 100% probability of severe cold weather over the coming days. It will be incredibly important to take all necessary measures to stay safe when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Be prepared and stay safe this winter
Some immediate things to consider:
- Keep updated with the changing weather conditions via the Met Office.
- When you have to make a journey, be prepared. For example, make sure you have a phone, warm clothes, food, water, boots, torch and spade. Also let someone know when you expect to arrive.
